Call me naive or unaware or whatever - I did a search for fxPansion'sVST to AU adapter (to answer a post in another section of this forum)and came across a dozen torrent sites that list it as a free download.Searching a litle further, it seems that almost every audio softwareapp, plug-in, or VI is available as a free download from some "torrent"site somewhere, and these torrent sites even have advertising on them.Are all these torrent sites "cracked software" sites? How do they remain in business? I'm doing a computer upgrade and Googled some software name (don't recall) and the torrent sites were all listed toward the top with the actual software company well down the list! I don't understand how they are getting away with it. Obviously Google isn't concerned either.
