Strelok and Strelok Pro - Sanctioned?
Living in the USA, it's maddening to me that no one else has made an App that rivals Strelok Pro yet for iPhone (since they were sanctioned).First off, let me save some guys some time and money real quick:Applied Ballistics Mobile App - sucks.GeoBallistics - sucks (not as bad as most at least).Hornady 4DOF - sucks.Lapua 6DOF - sucks.Shooter - sucks.So far, the best and easiest-to-use combo I've found is: Strelok Pro + WeatherFLOW Weathermeter.I had a Kestrel 5700 Elite... but I didn't really use it because it's 1990s tech and a PITA to use, the Kestrel App also sucks. It felt like going backward and was so much more caveman and slow coming from the StrelokPro/WeatherFLOW combo.I'm saying that even though there are still some glitches in the iPhone version that cannot be fixed yet (Igor, the maker of Strelok, is aware, but can't make fixes due to the sanctions). One of which is that wind speeds between Strelok Pro for iPhone and the WeatherFLOW are incorrect and fucked up (the workaround is I get my wind speed from the WeatherFLOW App, then relaunch Strelok Pro and enter the wind speed and direction manually). Even with a fairly annoying glitch like that, Strelok Pro is still the easiest to use.I've found that GeoBallistics is probably the least annoying to use for a match and building target cards, but it's a painful and slow process (that only takes seconds in Strelok Pro), and there's no landscape mode so one can't

So far I've been using Strelok Pro to do my ballistic calculations when shooting my AIRGUNS.Now, I'm looking to buy a used Kestrel — and I'm wondering if I should get one with the Applied Ballistics. However, before plunking down the extra cash I need to know:Will the Applied Ballistics in the Kestrel give me what Strelok Pro has been giving me — for my AIRGUN shooting? ?Specifically I'm looking for the following functions: (1) Does AB calculate trajectories down to 10 yards? No, down to 25 yds(2) Does AB calculate trajectories for projectiles with velocities down to 300fps, weighing 7 grain? You can enter manual bullet data with these values(3) Does AB allow me to enter custom BCs — coded to different velocities?Example: 500fps = BC 0.020700fps = BC 0.025900fps = BC 0.034No there is only one BC per profile. You would need to build a profile for each MV. (4) Does AB allow me to enter a custom drag model? If you had an Elite model, you could do drop scale factor to improve the sub sonic model but it would not be a custom curve. (5) Does AB give me at least 10 user-defined "rifles" — where I can define the scope—rifle — and combine that with c. 20 user-defined "cartridges" each with its own muzzle velocities and BCs? You can build as many profiles as needed, but only transfer 3 or 30 to the Kestrel, depending on if it is a 5700 or an Elite model.Which app Strelok pro or Strelok ?

With the help of the survivors and the Major, the Military fights back and are able to extract in the choppers.The ending slideshow appears, telling the player what has happened after the escape. Major Degtyarev is given the opportunity to be promoted to the rank of Colonel which he declines - he later becomes the head of the Security Service in the Zone. Strelok - if he survives the finale - gives all the materials he had found in the Zone to the government, prompting the creation of a Scientific Institute for Research of the Chernobyl Anomalous Area, with Strelok taking up the position of chief scientific consultant. Kovalsky, if he survives the finale, is forced to explain the reasons for Operation Fairway's failure. After a drawn-out investigation and the brass' failed attempt to make him the scapegoat for the failure of the operation, Kovalsky receives an honorable discharge.
