The map Italy from Counder Strike Condition Zero Italy is now recreated in COD4 by SPi using a very old cs map version of italy that was ported in cod4 nearly a decade ago. Almost every texture for the map is from CS and is upscaled. It is set in and around a secret military-hangar dug into a mountainside in Siberia, where a prototype Titan is being built. There are several military installations around the hangar.Overview[]The setting for this map is a snow-covered mountain in Siberia that slopes downhill from north to south. Mist-covered pine forests at the bottom of the mountain soon give way a to rocky, sparsely vegetated hillside that makes up the majority of the map. At the foot of the mountain summit is a large concrete hangar, the namesake of the map, which features tight interior corridors and multistory vertical walkways. Although set at night, the map is quite well lit due to an unnaturally large full moon hanging over the map.Conquest[]Although a few air vehicles are present, Conquest on Hangar 21 is a mostly infantry-focused affair. Only light ground vehicles are available for transport across the open ground between each flag, as well as the Launch Pod catapults found at various points across the hillside. In Conquest, which has a total of three flags, only one objective is found outside the hangar. Similarly to the US team, a road winds through a valley to the east, ending at a vehicle depot in the middle of the map. 2025-04-12Event InformationThe Hellscape Event is a small event with a new event floor hidden underground in Floor 2. The Penguin bosses have all relocated in the event floor, with an oversized familiar face waiting for you...This particular string of events documented on this page have all been set up and run primarily by Merlin_xvx.Porky Event Duration: 7/24/2020 - 8/7/2020 [PORKY DIED RIP]Penguin Conquest Duration: 9/8/2020 - 1/25/2021 [Penguins took refuge in Floor 5]Hellscape Event Floor Duration: 1/25/2021 - 11/28/2021 [Distortions where the Portal once was??]Porky Event and Penguin ConquestThe precursor to the Hellscape Event was the smaller Porky Event, where a bigger boar called Porky appeared under the bridge in Floor 5. On 8/7/2020, Porky died from mysterious circumstances and their soul has moved on to Floor 6, in the form of Spectral Porky. Another small event involved a group of Penguins invading Floor 2, 3, and 4, before taking refuge in Floor 5 in a icy cave hidden under the same bridge Porky took refuge in. At the location where the fallen Whiteridge Hollow once stood, a cave has been unearthed full of tiny spiders, and a crimson portal. The cave is relatively close to the spawn pad, behind the giant tree where the Universal Guild Merchant is standing.Spider Cave This cave is fairly hidden in Floor 2, as some players do have a bit of trouble finding it. However it's relatively close to the spawn, as the entrance is behind the big tree where the Universal Guild Merchant is standing at. Entering the cave, you'll notice a big drop that leads into the deeper parts where a couple spiders reside in, as well as the atmosphere being a lot hotter. A neon crimson portal can be seen, and touching it will bring you into the Hellscape Event Floor.The Event Floor The floor itself is dark and red all over and a lot of mobs are spread over the area. The giant penguin bosses that once took over Floors 2-4 have now moved to this floor. You can find the fallen Whiteridge Hollow inside this floor, with the shopping
