Gary, do you want to take a 'snapshot' of the whole PDF-page and paste that as a 'picture' into Word ?Do you need to be able to still make corrections to the content that you copy from PDF to DOCx ?Or is it rather a mix of text and picture(s) ?For copying a picture, you can use the snapshot tool,for copying text, you can simply select the text and click Edit > Copy,for creating a picture of the whole page, you can click File > Export > Export to Image...
