Meet the Pan Man - Pan Man

“You have already defeated my men, and you have passed my test. You are ready fight Lo Pan.”— DragonThe Dragon wants you to take out Lo Pan - hand to hand is a quest in Fallout 2.Quick walkthrough[]Side Quest: The Dragon wants you to take out Lo Pan - hand to hand Speak with the Dragon. Challenge Lo Pan in a duel. Defeat Lo Pan. Return to the Dragon. Reward: 8000 XP Detailed walkthrough[]Upon first arriving in San Francisco, there will be a ring in the middle of the crossroads, with two men fighting hand-to-hand in it: a muscular man with his torso naked, and a man dressed in black. The muscled man will throw his adversary to the ground, stating: "Your kung-fu is not good here".After a fade-in cut, one can freely talk to the citizens, and learn that the two fighting men are masters of martial arts, opposed in philosophy. The Dragon, the bare-chested man, cares for others and wants to teach his martial arts knowledge to all. Lo Pan, the man dressed in black, just cares for himself and does not want to teach others. Both have their respective gyms, one on the right street, and the other on the left street.Visiting The Dragon yields an explanation of the situation, and the current stalemate, as well as his point of view, one must agree with him to begin the quest. The Dragon cannot fight directly in a deathmatch with Lo Pan, but the player character can offer to do this for him, and if one is sufficiently skilled in Unarmed combat (125%) he will allow the player character to challenge Lo Pan. If the player character is not, he will not permit the confrontation and one can train with him. The training lasts around four hours, and it increases the Unarmed combat skill by 5%. If one tries to train again with him before one full day has passed he will refuse, saying "Not everything is physical strength, grasshopper."One can challenge The Dragon, but must first challenge six of his followers, one after another, healing automatically after defeating each one. After defeating his followers one will finally be able to confront Lo Pan. Go to his gym on the west side of the street, and challenge him. Defeat his four followers, and dispatch him quickly. If one is too slow he will break the rules by pulling out a .223 pistol. After defeating him talk to The Dragon to finish the quest.Alternatively, one can help Lo Pan to defeat the Dragon.Opponents[]Zurak (first opponent)JimmyHerbJobeMaster RubeMaster ZiggyLo Pan (final opponenent)Rewards[]8000 XP.Unarmed training with Dragon if one's skill is too low.Notes[]In the arena, when fighting hand-to-hand, the player character can kill him, if they are powerful. In that case, the quest is not availableThe Dragon wants the player character to prove themselves against five of his fighters[1]. However, in the ring actually six have to be defeated.Be careful because saving your game mid battle might cause a softlock. Game will crash on. Using Pan Man Plugin. 4.1 Installing Pan Man. We end up exploring Wendy's psyche throughout the film, and it is almost perfectly achieved. But why did this film fail at the box office? Competetion. Who can possibly defeat Lord of the Rings or Harry Potter, two bigger and much more commercial adaptations of fantasy books? This film deserves to be a classic and is one of the best fantasy movies to date. All should see it, young and old. I thought Jason Isaacs portrayed Hook well. The children's acting seemed a little overdone. You could tell they were trying to act, but I guess that comes with inexperience. The children casted haven't been in many movies. Tink had more experience in movies than Jeremy Sumpter, although I do think he did an exceptional job at being Peter. This was more the quality of a TV mini-series instead of a blockbuster hit. I also didn't like how everything was so artificial looking compared to the movie "Hook", but if you think about it it was originally a play and would have looked artificial. I guess it is all in your preference. One thing I did like about it though was how it was dark. It had a darker feeling than any other Peter Pan movies or cartoons that I've seen. Over all it is a good children's movie, but if you want something more mature go see "Finding Neverland." You can find superb acting there.FancyfiddlingDec 21, 2004Permalink10/10Tradition be damned! I realize I'm in the minority on this point, but I have NEVER been able to accept the idea of some actress dressing up in silly green tights, singing equally silly songs, while pretending to be a prepubescent boy pretending to fly on silly piano wires. I fully admit that it's a pet peeve of mine and not meant to denigrate those who have delighted in this tradition. As a long time lover of the J.M. Barrie stories and play, all I can say is that P.J. "broad, shallow vessel of metal used for domestic purposes," Middle English panne, from Old English panne, earlier ponne (Mercian) "pan," from Proto-Germanic *panno "pan" (source also of Old Norse panna, Old Frisian panne, Middle Dutch panne, Dutch pan, Old Low German panna, Old High German phanna, German pfanne), probably an early borrowing (4c. or 5c.) from Vulgar Latin *patna. This is supposed to be from Latin patina "shallow pan, dish, stew-pan," from Greek patane "plate, dish," from PIE *pet-ano-, from root *pete- "to spread." But both the Latin and Germanic words might be from a substrate language [Boutkan]. Irish panna probably is from English, and Lithuanian panė is from German. The word has been used of any hollow thing shaped somewhat like a pan; the sense of "head, top of the head" is by c. 1300. It was used of pan-shaped parts of mechanical apparatus from c. 1590; hence flash in the pan (see flash (n.1)), a figurative use from early firearms, where a pan held the priming (and the gunpowder might "flash," but no shot ensue). To go out of the (frying) pan into the fire "escape one evil only to fall into a worse" is in Spenser (1596).Pan Greek god of shepherds and flocks, woods and fields, with upper body of a man and horns and lower part like a goat, late 14c., from Latin, from Greek Pan. Klein and others suggest the Greek word is cognate with Sanskrit pusan, a Vedic god, guardian and multiplier of cattle and other human possessions, literally "nourisher," from a PIE root *peh- "to protect," but others doubt this. His worship originated in Arcadia and gradually spread throughout Greece. The similarity to pan "all" (see pan-) led to his being regarded as a general personification of nature. He was fond of music and dancing with the forest nymphs; the pan-pipe, which he invented and upon which he played, is attested by that name in English from 1820.pan (v.1)"to wash (gravel or sand) in a pan in search of gold," 1839, from pan (n.); thus to pan out "turn out, succeed" (1868) is a figurative use (the expression in the literal sense of "yield gold when washed out in a pan" is by 1849). The meaning "criticize severely" is from 1911, probably from the notion in contemporary slang expressions such as on the pan "under reprimand or criticism" (1923), probably from the notion
