Burnout426 Volunteer last edited by Hmm, you've pretty much covered everything. Do you have any other devices actively checking those accounts? If so, try having the other devices not check for a while just to test what happens. If that turns out to be the problem, I'm not sure what you can do about it.However I will try to use a "new" Opera Mail with those accounts and a Thunderbird checking.Yeh, if it works fine in Thunderbird and not in that Opera, I'm not sure there's anything you can do.Does the log show that Opera is indeed checking every ten minutes. Do you see IDLE in the log?I don't understand very well what you mean, however there isn't the word IDLE in the log.In the log, every ten minutes, you should see Opera connect to the IMAP server, select folders like Inbox and get an update on new messages. Then, Opera should disconnect. But, with IDLE support (Opera supports it, but not sure if hotmail does), a connection will be left open so you get messages as soon as they come in in that folder. Then, when the 10 minutes comes along, the idling connection will stop, Opera will connect to the server, check for new messages and then IDLE again. Any of that stuff that happens should be in the log. Since you don't see IDLE anywhere in the log, ignore that part. Now, Opera will also check for new messages in a folder when you click it. You should. Install opera-beta on Ubuntu. opera-beta. Opera (opera-software) Publisher Verified account. Opera (opera-software) Publisher Verified account; Install Previous Next. Very helpful feature for us developers jojo0587 @rafalspuka last edited by No. For me workspaces is good. One session with the division of tabs into several views (workspaces). But yes, I would like to have access to different sessions in one Opera installation. Only in a different form. Simply (on the toolbar?) There would be a switch to operate the profiles. Each profile would have separate extensions, bookmarks, cookies, etc.Only it's best to use multiple profiles at once (each in a separate Opera window). And additionally there could be a "guest" profile, temporary, which would not remember bookmarks / cookies / etc. after leaving him. According to me, Opera profiles make sense only in this form and I will vote 100% for such a proposal. A Former User last edited by Hello, there,Brand new MacBook Pro (macOs Ventura 13.2). Opera keeps signing me out of all accounts (Opera account included), every time I close the browser. It looks like it fails to save cookies, despite the browser being set up properly. The issue persists regardless of the Opera version used (stable / portable / developer). I have tried reinstalling the browser (ALL app data removed), unsyncing my account, deactivating 2FA, using the browser in guest mode, creating a new admin user, granting maximum permissions to the cookie file, without any success. I do not have any apps that clear cookies, or any Opera extensions.Where any other browser (Chrome / Brave / Vivaldi) works properly, Opera simply fails to write to its cookie file. Please review the attached pics (pic 4/6 - Opera vs Chrome cookie file, same browser settings).I dread switching to a different browser, by all means. Opera suits my needs perfectly. I truly hope this can be addressed.Opera Version: 95.0.4635.37 (arm64)System: macOS Version 13.2 (Build 22D49) 13.2.0 arm64Chromium version:109.0.5414.120Opera Deleting Accounts? - Opera forums
See that as a SELECT in the log. When you open a message, you'll see the fetching of the body in the log too.So, in your testing, close Opera, delete the log, start Opera (opera will create a new log) and don't do anything (so you don't cause extra noise in the log) for 10 minutes. When the 10 minutes are up, you should see Opera check for new messages and you should see that activity in the log. If you don't see any of that, then something is wrong with Opera and it's not initiating a check for some reason.During the 10 minute wait, you can send yourself an email to those accounts from a webmail (or another client, just not Opera) and see if it comes in right away or only after 10 minutes. Since you don't see IDLE in the log, it probably won't come in till the 10 minutes is up.Now, if you can't see anything wrong and you just see the IMAP server disconnect Opera for no reason, there's probably nothing you can do and it's just the server that's messing up (even if it only does it with Opera).. Thunril last edited by Can you update for OperaGX? Currently not working McSqueezy 0 last edited by Hello. I've used opera for a long time before on my old pc, and then everything with "install chrome extensions" was fine. Then, when I got new pc, I installed opera, and then opera gx (when it came out). In first months chrome extensions were installing normally, but recently I tried to download PreMiD addon, so I clicked "add to opera" button, it took me to extensions page, but then nothing showed up. I tried reinstalling opera gx aswell as opera (it's not working on regular opera too), but nothing happened either. And it comes to every chrome extension, not PreMid only. Any solutions? leocg Moderator Volunteer @McSqueezy 0 last edited by @McSqueezy-0 I've checked here and everything ran fine. overdue @leocg last edited by @leocg: Everything is ok now.
