What do you do if they wake up before 7am (first feed) my little guy sometimes wakes up at 5. Luckily today he went back to sleep until 6:30.I wake her up and feed her at 7 am. My LO drinks breast milk so for her 2 hours between meals is her daytime routine@dumbbellsanddonuts,what if she wakes up before 7? Do you wait until 7 regardless?@maem2022,hmmm I mean if she wakes up within an hour of the recommended wake time, I roll with it and adjust the rest of the day accordingly. Not every day will be just as the prescribed, at least in my experience. But it’s the structure of their schedule that provides us the consistency.I do think the correct answer is to try to wait but I don’t like to wait when I’m hungry. but you just have to do what’s best for your LO in the situation. You could always try both approaches and see what goes over best. I am following as well. I hear to still wake again at 7 to offer more to eat… we are able to get her to take a paci in the early am and have her come in bed with us and snuggle until 6:30/7. Not ideal. I would like her sleeping until at least 7 on her own. And I hate using a paci as a crutch but we also want to “train” her to not need those feedings middle night/ early am. If she was

Jared and I don’t have one spontaneous bone in our body. We are budgeters and planners, so spontaneity doesn’t come to us very often. So, making sure we have a routine and following that routine was essential for survival with our son (a.k.a. Baby Woz). Once Baby Woz arrived, we started following the Moms on Call book, but soon realized that some of the stuff in Moms on Call were unrealistic for us. We ended up switching things around to fit our family lifestyle and after that, we came into a natural routine that was great. 6 am - 7 amOnce Baby Woz was wake and diaper changed, we’d feed him 4oz of breastmilk. After eating, he would be awake for another 30 minutes, but after that, he would go down for a light nap. 9 amThe same cycle as the morning except his nap time is usually closer to 2 hours. But before going down for the nap, we enjoyed playing and having tummy time. Since his naps were closer to two hours, I could run errands with him or get work done around the house. I tried my best to time our outings around his naptime and my pumping schedule.12 pmThis is the same cycle as earlier. Baby Woz was constantly taking in 4oz of milk each feeding. After his feeding, we tried to get as much tummy time in as Baby Woz would allow when we were playing with him. After playtime, it was another 2-hour long nap.3 pmAgain, same cycle. Nothing changes. Eat, play, nap. 6 pmAt this point, it’s his last feeding before the bedtime routine at 9 pm. After he has been fed, we put him down for a short nap that lasts no longer than one and a half hours. This is when we can get dinner going and get everything prepared for the bedtime routine. 8:30 pmWe did bath time in our sink with a Blooming Bath Lotus because we never felt like kneeling over a bathtub and breaking our backs. 9 pmWe start his last 4 oz feeding with the lights dimmed down and Baby Woz’s sound machine on. It’s very peaceful yet boring so he doesn’t get overstimulated and can go to sleep quickly. After he was burped, we put him down in the Pack ‘n Play. 12 amWe wake him, change his diaper, and he nurses. After he nurses, I usually have to change his diaper again. Breastmilk sometimes flows straight through newborns. Good thing is, that he usually goes back to sleep pretty easily. 3 amOnce Baby Woz hit 3 weeks old, it was time to introduce the bottle. Now that he would take the bottle and there wasn’t any nipple confusion, Jared started taking over the 3 am feedings so I could sleep. Yay me! Please note this is just a basic schedule to get you started on a routine. If you need to change it an hour or two, then do what works best for you

Kelly Hyland, Kira Girard and Jill Vertes were also in attendance as the girls reflected on their days at the Abby Lee Dance Company — and all its chaos.Siwa, 20, said it was “shady” of the producers to ask her to call Miller, 58, with whom she has a good relationship but not all the girls do.“Paige, Brooke, and Chloe don't have any [relationship with Miller], and it is not a healthy end of a relationship. It is very messy,” Siwa said. “It is very traumatic on both ends.”When the producers asked her to dial their former dance coach in, Siwa said, “Absolutely not. I was like, that's where I put my foot down because I was like, ‘Alright, look. I'm not only putting myself in an awkward position of calling — and in this environment that no one invited her to — but, also, I'm putting Abby in a weird situation where she's talking to people who … she doesn't necessarily know how to talk to them.”Related: The Biggest Bombshells and Revelations from Dance Moms: The ReunionShe continued, “And then Paige, Brooke, and Chloé, I was like, I'm not gonna do that to them either because this. Herself, but so she could share her intel with other moms experiencing similar struggles. “Did you know you have to measure your nipples?” Megan asks. “I had no idea, but that’s how you figure out the right flange size.” (The flange is the part of a breast pump that connects directly to the areola, creating a vacuum seal.) For Roup, nipple cream and a warming massage device called a LaVie were lifesavers. “I’ve been exclusively pumping,” says Roup, “but for my mental wellbeing I had to cut down from eight pumps a day just so I could get things done.” In between pumping, Roup substitutes with formula. It wasn’t her initial plan, but if anything, motherhood has taught Roup that sometimes things don’t always go according to plan, and that’s perfectly OK.Roup shared some simple postpartum ab exercises with us, which work just as well on moms and non-moms alike. By Jennifer Gaskill As a first-time mother, I experienced both the demanding and rewarding sides of providing breast milk for my child. My breastfeeding journey was unique and challenging. Like many moms today, my expressed breast milk saved the day. Nowadays, exclusively pumping, once the territory of mostly NICU moms, has become the chosen feeding option for more women. Some women turn to pumping after dealing with latch and supply issues and/or lack of support at the start of their breastfeeding journey. For these women, pumping is the one way to supply breast milk to their child. Moreover, working mothers must build up a milk bank before going back to work, helping make the transition easier for both mom and baby. It is essential that moms considering pumping choose an efficient pump. Choose the right tool Most experts state that quality, closed-valve, hospital-strength pumps work best. Exclusive pumpers must choose a pump that can endure five or more sessions per day throughout the breastfeeding experience. Here are some tips for choosing a pump: Choose a pump with 250 mmHg or higher vacuum strength (also known as a hospital strength). Spectra’s single-user pumps are among the hospital-strength pumps recommended to exclusive pumpers. Moms can customize their settings to personalize vacuum pressure and cycle speed. If you cannot purchase a pump, you can rent one or buy a used one. When using these options, always choose a pump labeled as ‘multi-user’. Otherwise, the motor may not be designed to endure multiple users and an exclusive pumping regiment. Always purchase new accessories/parts; rentals and second-hand pumps include pump and motor only. Most insurance companies provide coverage for hospital-strength pumps. You can call your insurance plan or go online to determine your breast pump coverage. Breast pumps are issued by “DMEs” (durable medical equipment). When it comes to the Moms on Call schedule there's a way to make it fit your family. Moms On Call Schedule 2-4 Weeks. Sometimes just “Goose” for short. My grandkids call me Gan Gan. Is this grandma in any other language or my grandkids “original”?Gani / Buppa – My grandmother’s were names Ga (gah) and Nana, so when my mother was to become a grandmother she combined them -sort of- to make Gani (Gah-nee). My grandfather was Buppa but passed many years ago, so my father became Buppa until he passed.Gankie & Mom-mom– The oldest of 8 cousins tried to say “mom’s mom” and thus came Mom-mom. The youngest tried to say “Grandaddy” and some how got “Gankie”, the rest of us had to change.Ganmommie. My grandmother did not pick this one out herself, but was to be known lovingly as our Ganmommie ever since my cousin, her first grandchild, had trouble saying Grandmother. So she abbreviated a bit! Grand became Gan, and Mother she simply replaced with the more familiar child version of the word – Mommy. The “y” was then replaced with “ie” for some reason along the way!Gann– My cousins call my aunty this name. I don’t know why.Ganne and Ganne Ga (pronounced gan geh) My grandmother’s name is Anne. She added the G for grandmother. Ganne Ga came from trying to call my grandfather Grandaddy and it stuck.I love how my parents name’s came to be for my kids. (both my parents considered themselves too young to be called any real grandparent names) First, my father said, anything but GAPA, so of course with my first born Lauren, I purposely repeated to her, “that’s Gapa, say hi to Gapa”… my father would frown and say “don’t do that” however, my daughter took to the name, looked at my dad with her big blue eyes and said” Gapa?” My father melted. It’s been Gapa for all 3 of my children ever since. As for my mom, she started with Moms, I was Mom or Mommy and my mother was Moms, confusing to my daughter and to all of us. My mother then came up with the idea of Mickey Moms since Lauren was crazy about Mickey Mouse, so Mickey Moms it was….until one day, my daughter, looking for her grandmother asked me, “Where’s Mouse?” So now we had Mouse and Gapa. My mom remarried ten years later, and my kids decided that her husband Don needed a grandpa name too… He became Doncat because mouse and cat go together. So, we
