[what I'm not sure here is if you need to route the physical ports as well to their counterpart, aka themselves, in the matrix!?] Then use the virtual ports in one program and the physical ports in the other.btw I start the programs manually after bootup. First LoopMidi, wait about 10 seconds, then MidiTrix ( __________________ Windows 10x64 | AMD Ryzen 3700X | ATI FirePro 2100 | Marian Seraph AD2, 4.3.8 | Yamaha Steinberg MR816x"If I can hear well, then everything I do is right" (Allen Sides) Problem solved - see the end.-------------------------------Hey - I was just trying to do this...Bcr2k for mixer control etc (control surface)and for cc control of patch editing of a synth (cs-80 or others)I want to use the bcr for both.I have two different presets, on one - my mackie preset, on another preset just a bunch of CCs.I want to be able with one preset do mixer control, on the other do synth control...What I have tried, midi yoke, then found miditrix. that I was able to split the midi from bcr2k out to midiyoke1 as well.Ok - things seemed ok. Testing - enable control for myoke1, bcr2000(1) set as mackie control surface. Results = when on bcr2k cc preset, I can learn controls on cs80 and move sliders, no prob...I change bcr2k to mackie preset...The problem - The synth responds to the mackie commands as well!Fader 1 in the preset is a pitch bend on midi chan 1. (I created the bcr2k mackie preset)When I move the knob for fader1 (bcr) on that track it also moves the pitch bend on the synth...Mute 1 is a midi note in the preset ...When I press mute (bcr), the synth responds to the midi note. The track has to be armed to respond to the midi cc's (afaik) with speaker on and midi port selected.Does anyone know what I am talking about? Do I know what I am talking about?Suggestions, besides buy another controller. Thanks------------------- EDIT:Ok - using midiox to route seemed interesting and it had filtering of information, which helped, but cpu use around 25% just for midiox NOT acceptable.Return to MidiTrix - After you select what is routed, you can right click in the box and select filters, I think this will work ... testing.Works! I just filtered out all but CC for the synth control, and need to make sure I don't use cc's that are used on the mackie preset.Sorry about the blog like nature of this post, but perhaps someone along the way will be glad I posted it.Stream Recording by andy miditrix
