Or most of those. Certainly not the one on the bottom.Ok I found a link for Audible Download Manager, which is apparently different from "Audible Downloads" though it has the same green square with down arrow icon. It has settings! I am testing out a download. And that fast, it is done! So all these years I have been using it wrong, I guess. If your ultimate target is iTunes, then it's all you need. Audible Manager is an ancient application that hasn't been updated since the Windows 98 days and its limitations are myriad. However, if you don't use iTunes, and want to be able to listen to Audible books on your pre-Windows 10 computer, it's just about the only option. But if not, then we have more annoyance, but we still have workarounds. for one, I don't use Audible Manager or any Audible product to download my files. And being forced to use one of 3 mp3 players also points to some method of protecting the mp3's. So I thought I'll try it out. But I can't even log in. Every time I enter my mail and password I return to the sign in screen.Great going Audible.Anyway, if, as you say, aax files are still stored on PC, then there probably is no problem. Listening to audiobooks is very efficient and I can be doing some work and listening to an audiobook at the same time. Audible works on mobile and requires an Amazon Prime account. There are times when I don’t have my Phone in proximity but wish to listen to a title. There are a number of ways through which you can reduce the dependency on your Phone. Recently, I wrote an article on how to listen to Audible on Mac, I realized we need to do the same write for PC. Let’s Begin. How to Listen to Audible on PC1. Listen onlineAudible has a cloud Player which lets you stream your titles online. Now It does work but the features are not the same as the app. I’ve experienced so many errors during the playbacks. Sometimes the player won’t load or it would start from the beginning. This should be an option only when you have no other choices. To get started, log in with your Amazon Account on PC, select a title from the Library. The player would load up in a new pop up tab, make sure it isn’t blocked.Pros:You can stream, download, add bookmarksChange playback speed.Cons:The cloud player crashes sometimesDoesn’t sync the position and bookmarks.2. Use the Window 10 AppNow, If you have Windows 10, Audible is available on the Microsoft Store (sorry Mac users) and you can use that instead, to listen to your audiobooks.Downloading Audible for Windows 10 is easy. Press Start and go to Microsoft Store. Search ‘Audible’ and press Get. Alternativly you can click on this direct link. Launch Audible and you’ll see the login page. Enter your Amazon or Audible login credentials and you are in. Now you can search for your titles in the library or download new ones.ProsEasy to use UIChangle Playback speed, sleep timer, bookmarks etcBuy audiobooks from the appAn additional tool called “Send a Book”ConsAvailable only for Windows 10 and Windows 8Buggy Search featureAlso Read: 5 Best Game Emulators for Android3. Using Android EmulatorIf you don’t have Windows 10/8 on PC, there are still better workarounds. For Example, we can emulate the Android App with an emulator. There are so many free emulators available for your PC which you can use for running Audible. I’m going to use Nox emulator, it’s free and gets the job done. Go to Nox official website and click on the download button. The file is for 384 MB so shouldn’t take much time to download. Once Finished, install the setupYou can either install apps from Google Play Store like you do on your Android smartphone or you can download the apk file from the web browser inside Nox and then install it. I prefer the second way, as it’s more convenient. On the home screen of Nox Player, you should see a Browser, click on it and go to Google and search for Audible android apk. In the search results, you should see a link from Apk mirror, click on that. Alternatively, you can use can

However, if you don't use iTunes, and want to be able to listen to Audible books on your pre-Windows 10 computer, it's just about the only option. (For Windows 10, just go with the Windows 10 app.) 04-17-2019, 04:39 PM #5 Grand Sorcerer Posts: 7,196 Karma: 70314280 Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: Atlanta, GA Device: iPad Pro, iPad mini, Kobo Aura, Amazon paperwhite, Sony PRS-T2 Why not just

But if not, then we have more annoyance, but we still have workarounds. for one, I don't use Audible Manager or any Audible product to download my files. For another, on Windows, the files for the Windows 10 version of the Audible app are stored in: %homedrive%\%homepath%\AppData\Local\Packages\Audi bleInc.AudibleforWindowsPhone_xns73kv1ymhp2\LocalS tate\Content. But if not, then this is a dealbreaker. 12-02-2020, 03:44 AM #8 Evangelist Posts: 413 Karma: 1477913 Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Netherlands Device: KA1, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Tab A 10.1, ReMarkable O, great. Trying to contact Audible about the sign in problem, the 3 options (chat, phone, mail) are all greyed out. I don't think Ill be returning to Audible any time soon. 12-02-2020, 12:59 PM #9 Wizard Posts: 1,324 Karma: 17459628 Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Nowheresville, USA Device: android tablet, Kindle KB Aha!
