A great way to expand your palette and stay inspired.### Integration with Arturia ControllersAnalog Lab Play offers seamless integration with Arturia's popular MIDI keyboard controllers including KeyLab, MiniLab, and MicroLab. The knobs, faders and pads on these controllers are pre-mapped to Analog Lab Play's macros and effects for hands-on control. This tight integration means you can load presets, tweak sounds, and play expressively right from your keyboard, without touching a mouse. Control labels are displayed in the Analog Lab Play UI so you always know what a knob or fader is assigned to. Arturia's controllers also feature color-coded buttons and pads for easy navigation and triggering.Even if you don't own an Arturia controller, Analog Lab Play parameters are easy to map to any MIDI controller for tactile operation. The software learns incoming MIDI CC messages with a click, so you can set up a custom control layout quickly.### Upgrade Path to Analog Lab Pro and V CollectionFor users who want to go deeper, Analog Lab Play is a gateway to Arturia's more advanced software. Analog Lab Pro builds on the features of Play, adding more presets (over 2000), a full sound browser, and the ability to layer and split sounds. Analog Lab Pro also includes the Stage mode for organizing set lists and the Studio view for detailed editing.Beyond Analog Lab Pro is the mighty V Collection, Arturia's flagship bundle of over 30 software instruments. V Collection includes the individual emulations that power the Analog Lab sounds, like the Jup-8 V, Mini V, DX7 V, and more. Sound or control live—like the drawbars on a B-3 V or the filter controls of a Matrix-12 V. They’re even mapped automatically to the most logical controls on Arturia KeyLab and MiniLab keyboards, or NI controllers via NKS.But they may be wrong and you right which is why I asked further questions. Thanks for your input either way. Only the individual instruments on V collection are NKS- althou analog lab has some of those individual presets from the instruments it in itself is not NKS, and this is still the case even in V collection 6 which includes analog lab 3 ( and the new instrument including Buchla & DX7 are still not NKS) the specs in v collection 6 is quite clear in that respect.Analog Lab was originally with the minilab controller, so Arturia clearly want you to use their controllers. You can if you use google, find some user Analog Lab NKSF presets done for KK/Maschine.* NKS compatibility currently unavailable for Analog Lab 3, CMI V, Clavinet V, Buchla Easel V and DX7 V. Hi,Regarding NKS.V-Collection 8.1 have NKS files from Arturia for all applications except for Analog Lab.So just update the applications. It's a free update for VC8.It's from the release of new Arturia applications for years been possible to use them in Komplete Kontrol and to create NKS file your self.NKS compatibility, ever since it was first offered, has become one of those things I would expect to have had on "Day 1" or very soon thereafter. You exspect too much i think. Arturia have btw as far as i recall mostly added NKS a short while after release of new applications. But you can't even exspect any manufactor to create NKS files and keep doing it in the future.I would rather exspect NI to have created a system, that does'nt require speciel presets, and that actually can do the same, that in example Arturia preset system can - like sharing presets between applications and have more browser options and more powerful search functionality. If you look in NI's forum, then you find many are creating NKS files for lots of applications that does'nt have NKS from the manufactor.NKS is not a industri standard like you seem to think it is.Why should i use Komplete Kontrol for Arturia products, when i have Arturias preset system? It only require to open one extra application (Komplete Kontrol) for each track to get less functionality and less work space. And saving in NKS will also force me to allways use Komplete Kontrol or create new presets for another preset system. Also keep in mind, that you can use Arturias products from day one in Komplete Kontrol and create your own NKS files. You can also cretae your own NKS files for Analog Lab, if you wish. But just keep in mind, that if you in example create a NKS file for a Mini V preset in Analog Lab, then it only can be used in Analog Lab, while you in Arturias own preset format system also would be able to use the same preset in Mini V. It's the same for any other application, that if you create a preset in a individual Arturia synth/ keyboard application, then you can use the same preset in Analog Lab, and this is'nt possible with NKS. This i think is a reason why Arturia does'nt make NKS for Analog Lab. Analog Lab is in a way also Arturias Komplete Kontrol, but for Arturias synths and keys only. And again, - you need to use Komplete Kontrol to use NKS files. I see many reasons to not use Komplete Kontrol. NKS have btw for a long time been discussed in other threads in the forums.. The thread is about missing samples and not missing presets like you have. Logged Yes, same problem here. Installed the 4.0.2 update and all sound libraries seem to have disappeared on Lenovo Laptop #1. No useful info at all on the left side of the screen. Strangely enough, I have a duplicate Lenovo Laptop #2 and the update worked fine. Problem exists in Standalone mode and VST mode. « Last Edit: June 17, 2019, 04:17:05 am by smaltese » Logged SOLVED: Apparently there are files left behind by the previous versions of Analog Lab 3 and 4. These need to be deleted for a fresh install.Uninstall Analog Lab 4. Before re-installing, make sure to delete C > Program Data > Arturia >Analog Lab 4. Once I deleted this directory, I did a fresh install of Analog Lab 4, and bingo, it worked. Logged Nope. Tried UNINSTALL and deleting the ANALOG LAB 4 in the presets and in the ARTURIA folderThere are NO INSTRUMENTS, NO BANKS, NO TYPES, NO STYLES - ZIP!!!The only thing that is available is a 3OSC using the MINI MOOG Logged Sorry to hear it didn't work for you. The maddening thing is that the sounds seemed to be there. Do you have the sample concert? Click on it and you will be able to play the presets in the concert as you do the Moog. At least that's the way it was working for me until I deleted all remnants of both 3 and 4 and finally the reinstall worked for me. Logged About missing presets try to delete the "db.db3" file in the hidden folder ProgramData: C/ ProgramData/ Arturia/ Presets/ and start the application.Perhaps it's best to create a backup of the file before deleting, - just in case.About the missing samples try to install the "Synthopedia" soundpack again.I believe this should fix both the issues, - at least for now. « Last Edit: June 18, 2019, 07:29:17 pm by LBHComments
