The SCH lies at the heart of the Catalyst module and other Eurotech Intel Atom products.This change has the following impact:- Some operating system builds may require one or more new drivers- Some operating systems will detect a change in US15W revision as new hardware.Identifying the SteppingRevision D of the Catalyst Module features the D2 stepping of the US15W, while revision B modules use the D1. The difference between module revisions is easy to spot: Rev B modules use green soldermask, while rev D modules are blue.On single-board products like the Proteus, you can identify the SCH US15W stepping by the markings on the chip itself (ref):Step D1: SLB4UStep D2: SLGFQ Operating System ChangesThere are two ways this change affects the operating system:New Driver RequiredSome OS builds may not include the drivers necessary to support the updated chipset.
