King of the Dwarves: Underground City Builder
Search of the Runes of Wisdom. What they encountered there no mortal can say; but what they discovered upon their return has already been carved in stone that future generations will never forget. The shambling corpse-men of the fleshless goddess Mortis had marched upon the Dwarven heights. Their once proud kingdom now lay barren and scorched before their sullen eyes. Valkyries saddled on their winged steeds descended from Wotan’s domain in search of the fallen. This was the Wolf-Age, for in these dire times gods were created and heroes were made; and the carrion wolves fed upon the weak. The King himself was slain, and with him many of his most courageous warriors.Despairing but not defeated, the Mountain Clans moved deep into the underground city of Svatalfaheim. Here, it is said, they patiently wait for their fallen warriors to return.Ten years have passed since the death of the Dwarven Highking Sturmir Thunderhammer; ten years of relative peace for the Dwarves. Since the end of the war against Mortis' Undead legions the Dwarves have become more determined than ever to recover their lost Runic knowledge. Little do they know that they will soon face an enemy more dangerous than any Undead abomination...Dwarves are one of the eldest races in Nevendaar. The powerful god Wotan created them shortly after the world itself was born. Inaccessibly high mountain peaks are their home, where they can feel safe. These harsh conditions made them even more hardened; dwarves are as sturdy as the mountains themselves, among which they dwell. Dwarves are the best smiths around; there are none who can rival them in the art of making armor and weapons. The dwarves were always a peaceful folk, much more inclined to solving the mysteries of the deep Earth than to fighting. But those who try their patience should know better – when the dwarven warriors reach for their axes, they become unstoppable, much like a furious avalanche sweeping away everything in its path. Few in this world have more strength, skill and battle fury than the children of Wotan. The dwarven community is divided into clans, and the Dwarven King, elected by the council of all clans, rules them all. This is a great honor, and only the most esteemed and noble dwarves, whose services to the dwarven folk are great, can become kings.Gameplay[]The Warriors of the Mountain Clans posses low initiative and move scores, butKing Of The Dwarves: Underground City Builder
Certain point-of-view if one stops to consider that it was Arthas who caused the explosion and didn't care in the least). But unbeknownst to everyone Muradin had survived his wounds and currently suffers from amnesia.Wrath of the Lich King[] Muradin in the persona of Yorg Stormheart, King of the Frostborn. This section concerns content exclusive to Wrath of the Lich King.In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, in a quest in the Frostmourne Cavern in the Dragonblight, players can see a flashback of the interaction between Arthas and Muradin prior to Arthas claiming Frostmourne. It turns out that Muradin was not slain when the ice encasing Frostmourne shattered, but was merely wounded. A short time after Arthas left, Muradin awoke. Confused, hurt, and with total amnesia, he wandered out into the snow.Muradin was eventually tracked down by a group of Frostborn dwarves, who followed his trail of blood-soaked snow during an extremely harsh blizzard. These Frostborn just happened to be on their way home to Frosthold from a trek across the Dragonblight. Not about to let their new-found cousin freeze to death, they took him along with them, and a short time later they came under attack by a jormungar. After slaying the worm single-handedly and saving the dwarves, they took him in and gave him the name Yorg Stormheart, after a legendary Frostborn warrior. Eventually, Muradin/Yorg became King of the Frostborn and brings his people into the Alliance, which had begun journeying into Northrend to do battle with the Lich King, the renegade blue dragonflight, and the iron dwarves. Despite his people befriending the Alliance and the Explorers' Guild, he expressed concern over involving his people in wars that would result in their deaths.Reunited[]After a long Alliance quest chain, Muradin is reunited with both Brann and Magni, and recalls his lost memories. He then leaves the frost dwarves to hunt down Arthas. The game then phases, causing Muradin to be replaced by Velog Icebellow.Icecrown Citadel[]Muradin commands the gunship Skybreaker during the Gunship Battle in Icecrown Citadel.[3]. First off, the lack of population is just sad. We need to. After level 12, get two dwarves per level, because a million xp is a worthy achievement any day. Second, we need more expansive world. Also, you should be able to have several, have trade, a religion, war, not raids, war, like 30 dwarves against 100 full grown orcs. Third, there must be a new type of level, called SIEGE, when your dwarves go and burn orc cities, and burn goblin coves. I also would like a form of religion and procreation, allowing bloodlines and possibly a way to crown someone king or governor of a colony. Now, this could take years, but I would suggest a series of installments over several years. Moira being a tyrant who held the city hostage, she was still the legitimate heir to the throne, and killing her would only put the succession of Ironforge into question, thus leading to more chaos and conflict. Where as if she lived; through her and her son, all dwarven clans can unite. Varian slowly agreed but was also conflicted as Moira had caused so much chaos and had already threatened the safety of his son. Varian agreed to spare Moira's life but stipulated that if Moira was to be a leader and unite the dwarves, then she'd have to earn her crown by earning her people's respect. In order to take into account the opinions of all dwarves, Varian called for the formation of the Council of Three Hammers. Both father and son hugged and reconciled while the populace of Ironforge applauded King Varian's decision.[55]Wolfheart[] Wolfheart Varian, scion of Goldrinn As Genn Greymane was boasting about Gilneas' victories against the Horde during the banquet welcoming the Alliance dignitaries, Varian Wrynn arrived and mocked Gilneas. Varian insulted Gilneas by implying that they were pathetic cowards and weaklings. Despite the insults to him and his people, Genn held his anger in check and tried to persuade the king of Stormwind that Gilneas had changed and that they were now ready to be staunch supporters of the Alliance. Varian Wrynn however, was still bitter over Gilneas' abandonment of the Alliance during their hour of need during the Third War. Will deliver the final blow.[76]Blood in the Snow[] Varian and Moira One day, King Varian's scouts discovered that Zandalari trolls threatened the dwarven capital by rallying the Frostmane trolls against them. Surely, the king thought, if he helped them with their troll problem, they would give him more troops for his campaign against the Horde. But what the King did not realize is that the dwarves did not trust one another. When Varian sought the help from the Council of Three Hammers, both Muradin and Falstad declined to offer aid in Ironforge's defense for they feared that if they left to fight the Frostmane trolls, the Dark Irons would take advantage of their absence to defeat the remaining clan and take over Ironforge. Frustrated, Varian argued that if no one would help, Ironforge would fall under siege. Only Moira Thaurissan offered aid, stating that the Dark Irons would prove their loyalty to the Council, Ironforge, and the Alliance in the defense of Ironforge. And so Moira and the High King set out in the snow to save the city, leaving the others to think about their actions. When they arrived at Shimmer Ridge, they discovered that the trolls were using an unnatural storm to prevent the dwarven forces from advancing on them. Once the king's champions stopped the magical storm protecting Shimmer Ridge, Moira led her personal guard against the enemy troll village, at Varian's request. After rescuing the surviving mountaineers and slaying the elemental that the trolls were satiating withComments
